Kai takes inspiration from nature and folklore to create their otherworldly and atmospheric paintings. They also have a keen passion for weird tales and eerie horror, which lends even their cosiest work a distinctly spooky vibe.

Kai has a lifetime of artistic and creative experience, and has been working in creative industries since graduating with a BA in Computer Visualisation and Animation in 2006.

Since 2017, Kai has been selling their paintings and prints as "Other Side Silly"; their independent art business based in Cambridge UK. If you’re local to the area, Other Side Silly can be found in the All Saints Craft Market in Cambridge most Saturdays from March - December.

They also have a long standing career in video game development (2006 - present). Having previously worked for Sony (Playstation) for over 10 years, they currently work on a freelance basis for the independent video game developers, Polygon Treehouse.

Kai has years of experience completing work to specification and within specific timeframes, as well as working with and co-ordinating teams for creative projects.
